Golden Gate Bridge.... Cropped first, then used Levels, Saturation, then USM (after resizing). I like the dark contrast of the chain railing in the fore ground.

hahaha. I hadn't even looked at this challenge. I cannot believe this did not take a ribbon. It is by far the best photo in the challenge. I have lost faith in the voters here already (this may give you some clue as to what photo of mine you left a photo on in the current challenge). This is going in my favorites for sure. Keep up the great work. You're bound to get a ribbon soon. Gosh, I miss CA. :)
Good shot. I like the shadowed chain on shore in contrast to the foamy movement of the rough water, the red of the bridge, the easy flow of the suspension cables, all against the mountainous backdrop and swirling soft sky directing us to the other side of the water.
Beautiful shot and another great take on the Golden Gate (I live in the Bay Area so I see a lot of these day in and day out - this is an especially nice one that is different from the others).
The addition of the chainlink fencing and reflection on the sidewalk add the oomph in this popular subject and angle. Without them, the picture would have been just another Golden Gate snapshot. You have a good presence of mind to add these two elements in your shot to make it distinctive.
