Point of View
I took this photo up Provo Canyon near the Bridal Veil falls waterfall. The sky was completely cloudless and the icicles were suspended from a powerline and backlit by the sun.

I think this is an excellent composition and study in shapes/contrast. I think it may also have some strong potential as a black and white because of those elements and the texture of the ice. As far as point of view is concerned, I don't think this is a particularly strong image. The point of view for this photo doesn't seem to add to the impact of the image. The contrast and shapes are dominant. Challenges usually require some fine attention to the challenge topic. Your approach to the topic should be clear and well-defined.
I think with just a little less exposure you might have been able to show more of the texture of the icicles. I think its a good shot for this challenge.
Very focused indeed. They look so real as if I could reach in and touch them! And with a crispy deep blue sky as as background your icicles stand out so prominently.
