This is the best dog photo so far. Not so much that this one is totally great, but its at least a little more imaginative than the others and also taken better.
I hate animal pictures becasue 99% seem to be shapshots. However, this is sublime - no other word for it. Will be in my faves once finished.
Your point of view is brilliant, there is some emotion to the dogs eyes and the orange BG just makes his profile stand out. The shallow DOF works well here, and the great exposure has brought out stunning texture so good i can almost feel it.
At first glance the photo didn't attrackt me, but it's ability to hold the viewer surprised me. The POV is unique, and the clarity of the dog's eyes amazing due to the selective DOF. Great job, and I like the contrast and the nice background.
Unique cropping makes this a unique pov. Like the background color - compliments the fur. Minor point - sun on ear distracts me from the eye (which is the main focal point) Otherwise, well done.
Very well done! I try to shot some animals but no success until now. I can see clearly the "Make up" of it. At first look the eyes glare showing you taking the picture catch my eyes. I guess that is intentioal. To me it´s very well done. But I can´t dicide if like or not of that glare.
This is a wonderful photo. The combination of sharpness and DOF is amazing. The color tones are very friendly and work harmoniously together. Top marks from me (10)
