The Wilmington & Western RR opened up its full 10 mile track today following 4 years of reconstruction after flooding caused by a hurricane. Rather than ride the train this time I chased it through its route - I was one of many (including a few people driving antique steam powered automobiles) and had a good time 'racing' the train to have just enough time to jump out of the car and grab some shots as it passed. I had to frequently check that I wasn't standing where I'd get hit...especially when using my 10-20..
