I watched pigeons this weekend. Tried to shoot them taking off. Did basic editing with curves, levels and saturation. Finished with USM.

Wrong king of shooting for a pigeon. You should have invited Dick Cheney. :-) Great motion capture, but you lost all the rocks. Maybe cropping more out of focus stuff out of the image it wouldn't have drawn my eye away from your subject?
