nothing fancy in the editing: levels, hue/sat, sharpen, highlight/shadow, dodge/burn, crop

This lioness was moving around ALOT when i approached her exhibit area. I was about to give up, when she spotted something and froze. Luckily i was right in front of her and was able to pop off a few shots. She's so beautiful, I hope this does her justice!

Wow it certainly does do her justice and is very worthy of such a good finish

Wonderful sharpness without ever giving the impression that the animal was lying there stupified

Oh yes!! She is SO BEAUTIFUL, and you have in fact done her justice! I really think this should have scored much higher, but congratulations on a personal best. I don't think it will be a personal best score for long tho!! :)

Very intent look on her face. And is it just me, or is her tail bobbed?

Cropping the ground out and making it a square crop would have really added to the intensity...nice image in any case 7

zoo shots are tough. Concrete background detracts from the intensity.

Zoo? Great capture and post-processing. The cougar's eyes make this image for me.
