I had my family reunion this weekend, so I didn't have much time to go out and huntfor just the right photo for this challenge. I still wanted to enter anyway. This was the most colorful photo I got during the reunion. Both girls have gorgeous blue eyes. One is my daughter, the other my neice. I love this photo, so I entered it. I wish this challenge allowed a bit more editing, because their eyes really sparkle.

I normally don't care all that much for images of children, but you have truly captured an image that will withstand the test of time. The focus, DOF and lighting of this image are spot on, and one can almost feel the love these two have for each other.
This is a definite keeper, and as time passes, you and these two lovely young ladies will re-visit the innocence of youth and smile, remembering that it is the simple things in life that bring the greatest joy. Well done indeed.
DNMC. Color is supposed to be used to make the subject stand out from the rest of the photo. There is so many varied colors in this shot that nothing stands out because of color. The girls are very cute, and it is a nice shot of them, but that's not the point of the challenge.
