Keith, lovely feather detail on the egret, along with nice water.

Ideally it would be nice to see more room in front of the beak, and either his feet , or where they disappear into the water.

Otherwise nice pic.

A gorgeous bird. I would have liked to see the feet not cut off though. Maybe try tweaking in PS a bit to get the beak a bit more contrasted against the water - as is they almost blend in together. Nice detail in the feathers. Not knowing what was to the left of the bird - the direction it is facing, I am hesitant to suggest a different crop. But, if it is water to the other side, as is on the right, I would like to see how that perspective looked in comparison. Not sure if I would have the bird looking outside the frame unless there were distractants to the left.

Wow, excellent Egret! Water color is real nice, and detail on the bird is good. These birds are very tough to get close, and very tough to get without major blowouts in the white. My only knock is the composition (and thats a very minor knock).
