Had to come back and tell you how much I love this image. The mystery and science fiction-ness of this entry is wonderful. I think blackening the whites of your eyes is what sends it into orbit for me.

Oooh, nice editing work. very alien. I like the selective softness, however, I'd prefer to see a little more contrast and highlight sharpness to pop the image. I normally hate the top-bottom border look, but it actually works here, probably because Sci-Fi movies are widescreen. :)

I almost really enjoy this image, what loses it for me, is the nose that looks smudged. I am thinking after you placed the nose, what about using the heal brush to get some skin texture back to the bridge. Use the cheek as reference and I think this would have been a really fantastic image.
