I'd have guessed what Lori guessed - I thought they were some sort of clips of some kind. I like the "design" formed by looping it around on itself - they kinda look like swings or chairs that way.

The BG is distracting to me and the subject is a bit too busy for me, I can't really see where one piece ends and the other begins.

Remind me never to visit you. A chain of some sort I'm guessing. Like the composition and angle.

Some sort of chain links, probably not jewelry, maybe fencing or something to tied animals down with. Not sure this is enough of a puzzle for this challenge.

I would imagine it certainly could be used as a torture device. It looks like some kind of chain. I'm not a fan of the "thing lying on some carpet" presentation. The thing is nicely arranged, though.

The Davinci Code Scene with the albino psycho weirdo wrapping this around his leg. Or a Dog collar that makes it feel like another dog biting them, which is how dogs say to each other, "Hey, stop that!".

Indeed, choke collar. Hopefully, if it must be used, only during training and under supervision.

looks like a dog choke collar. I wish you had picked a different backgroud, perhaps a totally black cloth and i'd be interested to this from a differnt angle, perhapd from the side or up through a glass table.

Interesting pattern. Good clarity. Could you have gone a bit more macro to make it mor of a puzzle as to what it is.
