 i took photographs thinking of the puzzle macro challenge and a couple of the rejects i combined using different blending modes and selectively erasing the effect .. brought in one of my recent bee photographs .. erased parts of the bee image to fit in with the background i'd created from the macros ...
i did a bit more processing .. reducing noise, levels, etc, but that's the basic idea ...

i did a lot of the processing for this after resizing smaller which doesnt convert to a print .. this is the print which i had to totally reprocess ..the dimensions had to be changed as well ..
