Taken on the Eastside Esplanade along the Willamette River in Portland Oregon.
It was very cold, but nice and clear with lovely blue skies. I wasn't looking for an 'Action' shot specifically, but the esplanades on both sides of the river are popular for runners, walkers, bikers and skaters and even with the cold it was the same today. Lucky me!
I did this in both black & white and color and liked them both. I enjoy B&W photos more often than color so I went with that one for the challenge.
I like the choice of black and white, it sets the mood very well. I get the feeling of action with the cycle moving, but there is also a feeling of calm as well. Sharpness and dof are good. Very atmospheric.
