Nice attempt but the focus is not quite where it needs to be and the surrounding are a bit distracting. I wish you well in the challenge.

Interesting composition. Overall, though, the image is a bit flat. Maybe playing with contrast or levels or something could give it a bit of a boost. also, the background is very busy, and that distracts from the subject. obviously, you can't control the architecture, but perhaps another angle would have helped to minimize some of the distractions. Or, as a last resort, you could play with a bw conversion and see if that would help.
