Haha, nice find. I especially like how he's been sipping at a cold drink on the stairs. Would've been wonderful to get a picture of him trying to shove a straw through his helmet.

Great to see this made it to the top 10 Jeff...a great quirky image. Thought it might be in the top 3, but nevermind...10 out of 447 is great...you are a real asset to this site

Beautiful work as usual Jeff...nice to see you are finally pulling in a ribbon and top ten scores!!

hah nothing says hollywood like dressed up street performers.

Excellent BW, crop, wide angle and composition. Oh yeah, and content - juxtaposition of 2 figures and setting. Does it get much better?

Was he waiting for Chewbacca?

Great shot, Jeff - I thought this might have been yours. Nice sense of whimsy to it, and the guy passing by makes the shot work for me. Great sense of timing, great light!

i like the person walking into the photograph and the excess space is occupied by the glowing white body. Nice catch here.

I really like this shot, and not just because I like star wars. Haha, the cup next to the stormtrooper is the best part of it IMO..

I love the perspective/crop of this, AND it is hilarious.

Now this one really stands out in the challenge. Interesting subject, good job getting the low angle.

LOL bizarre and wonderful, I really hope this was a moment you stumbled across (I am marking in that light) and image that stops you in your tracks. Terrific (especially the passer by...Which I have to say is the bit that makes me wonder whether there was a bit of posing going on, cos no way could I walk past a storm trooper so nonchalently!!!!) still a solid 8

V glorious. Processing is worthy of, well ... The addition of the partial figure is essential, of course, and the drink finalises it, and tops it.
Post actions
i think the stormtrooper is looking at you and is aware that the photo is being taken.

This one really grows on me. I do like the low angle, the way the trooper seems to be invisible to the pedestrian striding by. And that glass of slushie (?) is the extra touch of humor IMO.
