I can see a lot of potential with this shot. I would have liked a bit more to the photo in terms of what's around him, and if he's on the horse then being able to show that as well.

You have me yearning to see his mount. The red background works well as a bg. I don't see a lot of use for the store front and would love to see it cropped. IMHO.

I can see that he is a policeman, but I am not convinced about the mounted part. You are not showing that to me. So, therefore, the title does not match.

Nice comp, good color, nice dof, good light, good skin tones, overall a good picture.
