Like the desaturation to highlight the kid but I think its too much perhaps just dialing it down a bit would have been better, + the eyes just looks a bit too freeky for me. Good Luck

This is an excellent candid, but somewhat lessened by the selective desat - I'd have preferred it either in full color, of simple B&W.

Oh man, so much selective desaturation in this challenge... it shouldn't be used as a tool to seperate a subject from a background which is too busy. And colouring the dad's eyes is just a step too far.

Very nice image and yep it says candid to me. Like the desat but maybe would have preferred it without the fathers eyes in colour
