Funny picture, but not buying it as a candid. |

Sure this wasn't meant for the 'backside's challenge? :) |

What a bummer you weren't able to enter this into the backside challenge. Would have been perfect :-) |

I don't understand the title for this image, why Marco!Polo! ? on the image, I don't like the composition on the middle, the grass on the right side is distracting. as candid moment could be acceptable because the animal have an unusual position. |

Hmm, I think it needs a person for a candid.. |

Good capture, and the title is hilarious. It isn't a "posed" shot, as is, but it doesn't really scream "candid" to me, either. |

The Open Road, chapter 2 (Wind in the Willows) by Kenneth Grahame
Ducks' Ditty
All along the backwater,
Through the rushes tall,
Ducks are a-dabbling,
Up tails all!
Ducks' tails, drakes' tails,
Yellow feet a-quiver,
Yellow bills all out of sight
Busy in the river!
Slushy green undergrowth
Where the roach swim—
Here we keep our larder,
Cool and full and dim.
Everyone for what he likes!
We like to be
Heads down, tails up,
Dabbling free!
High in the blue above
Swifts whirl and call—
We are down a-dabbling
Up tails all!
Your photo reminds me of that chapter. |

I struggle a bit with the idea of animals as candids but no denying that you have captured a good image, super dof |
