I was just playing around with crayons (actually for the 30-day ordinary object side challenge) and liked this. I know, I know, the red crumb is distracting. I predict at least four comments that will tell me so.
Taken on my kitchen table on a piece of black poster board. Post-processing was just levels and saturation adjustments, and USM.

nice transition idea.. I would have liked to see the yellow crayon box color as a border.. I think that would have been a nice finishing touch.. 9 for me.
