I don't think this is over edited...any less editing and people would be complaining that its too normal and that you should up the contrast or something I think

Congrats Cindi ... I just finished voting late last night and this was one of the last images that I voted on ... gave it a 10 and immediately added to faves ... this image is amazing ... Detroit Zoo doesn't have elephants anymore, they moved to Cali a few years ago ...

Nicely captured & processed - a little too hot on the tusks, but I like the texture throughout...

My favorite of the challenge for the composition and the subject matter. Burning on the tusk on the elephant on the right of the photo seems quite apparent but the rest of the processing is fine.
Post actions
Very nice, great detail, I bet this is near the top!
Post actions
beautiful deatail and lighting, well done!

Gorgeous composition and lighting. Love the details on their tusks.

Just such a beautiful shot. Fantastic emotion and I love the texture of the skin that I can just feel by looking at it. Very well done. One nit - I don't much care for the border - I think adding no border would possibly work better here IMHO. An amazing shot. Back to bump you up to 9.

very sharp and well composed. Really like the filled frame crop as well, well done!

I always find elephants to be a hard subject to photograph. I can never seem to really justify the textures of their skin nor their gentle nature. You have done both with this wonderful photo. They look like they are sharing a private moment of rememberance between them.
Post actions
Lovely photo & I really like the crop. Nice frame for this one..should do very well! Good luck.
Post actions
I llike the composition and detail. The tusks are a little hot but otherwise, great shot.
