Fair amount of set-up for what appears to be a simple shot. First I painted a sheet of glass blue. Made a small frame for the "mirror" and traced the outline onto my painted glass. Used a razor to scrape off the paint where the "mirror" would be located. I then glued the frame to the "wall" leaving a clear area in the "wall" that acted as my "mirror". A large table spoon was placed on one side while a small teaspon was placed on the camera side of the "wall". Lighting was easy, I simply used a 36" umbrella dead center over the "wall" to given even lighting on both sides. I used a white sheet over the entire set-up to create a "light tent" to minimize distracting reflections in the spoons. Compose, shoot, process, upload.... done!!!
