Now Christian: here you fooled me. If I had neglected to read your details of the image I would have gone about scratching my head how they made a minuture. Regardless, you have shown great imagination here by creating such a lovely feast for the eyes. Love Roxanne! Congratulations on your 5th place.

What a great shot! It's a little overexposed which is a shame, but I love the b&w treatment, the composition and the background.

Like a painted portrait, excellent modelling on Roxanne, and I love that Boxer expression. Good idea brilliantly carried out.

Hilarious that you got about the same pose out of the real dog. Great choice for black and white.

Wonderful light and an excellent pet portrait. Perfect for the challenge too - requires a doubletake to realize the little one is a statue.

Wow, the first truly exceptional photo I have come across in the double take category. All I can say is Wow. Great light, good subject matter. An Amazing photo......... I love the light. It is what sets this photo above all the others......Upon further review, this is my favorite shot of the double take challenge. 10

Haha, nice. At first I was really confused - is that a little statuette? I love the expression on the (real) dog's face.

I hate photos of statues but this really works. It almost makes me laugh - the boxer's stoic expression. nicely done.
