Nicolas- I think the combination of your wonderful photo and quote was exquisite.
The quote is from William Blake's poem Auguries of Innocence. Blake lived in London, 1757-1827; (I'm sure you'll learn about him in school in a few years) Good job with the quote Mom :-) Again, Great Work!
Ok, my mom finally let me have the keyboard for a minute so I can thank everyone. This was really cool challenge. I learned a lot. Photoshop totally rocks. Digital camera does too.
Congratulations on your 1st place winning photo. You deserve a pat on the back. I wish I could take such stunning photos as you. Hope your tummy has defrosted by now. Keep it up kid, you will reach the stars one day. A+++++
Nicholas -- You have some incredible talent! Your entry to the challenge was fabulous! Many congratulations! Keep up the great work. A young man like yourself has much to share with the world. With your eye for photography, you can open a lot people's eyes!
This was top of my picks...outstanding and looked a lot more complicated than your explanation...sometimes I think when we tell how we did these shots we lose some of the magic...but I'm glad you did. Congrats again.
Kids inspire everyday but none such as you on this day. Congrats on your first ribbon! As my earlier comment echoed, there is SO MUCH to love about this!
Great quote - text compliments the image (color, spacing, position) Macro shot is great with the snow crystals, I am a bit distracted by the blurry items in the background - they need to be either more blurry or less bright. Nice Job 9
Imaginative selection of a round mat - I like it, and it fits perfectly with the image, which is, itself, a great capture. Nice choice of border color, font type/size, etc. One minor criticism: You should have given William Blake credit for the quotation.
What a beautiful message and the image works very well with it. I can't really decide whether the circular crop for the image works for me... I'd have to see it squared off to compare...
there's just TOO MUCH to love in this shot so I'll tell you what yuo already know... I'm blown away! great subject to represent imagination, love the colour & the bursting of the flower! Just really a top notch poster! 10
Great shot, love the choice of frames, the letters being spaced and choice of font in the word imagination is great, the colors and the detail of your subject is outstanding! 10
This is very nice and I can see this hanging in an office where employees would gaze on it. I like that you used the circle which matches the subject. I'm sure this will do well. Good luck with the challenge!
