It's not often I have someone posing for me who isn't three years old and related to me. This was taken at FAnime, at the fountain area in front of the convention hall. Unfortunately I did not have a sheet of posterboard to use as a reflector, and had to rely on my meager post processing skills.
In Aperture: Crop, bump up exposure, then Saturation and Contrast a tiny bit, adjust Shadows, and Sharpen. Resized in Photoshop (easier to make it fit in 150k that way).

She was at an anime convention? Oh my! Who knew girl geeks were so gorgeous these days!! Great shot, by the way. I quite like it just the way it is, so your meager skills worked out fine.
Rob, I think this composition is really strong and your focus is dead on. Her pose is sexy but also strong, and the background is nicely blurred. Frankly, I'm surprised at the score.
I think the lighting hurt you, esp. the blown areas along her back. Were they blown in the original?
Have you learned how to adjust light using soft light layers? Check out Idnic's tutorial and give this another shot. I think you could darken the background and lighten her face and really improve things.
Rob, you captured a really strong expression here. I like the subject, the pose, and composition. I agree with you that she does not seem undernourished.
Guessing from her height and approximate weight, this girl has a "healthy" BMI and does not need to gorge herself. I think the thing on her arm means "lifeguard," but someone who knows better could correct me.
i hope she knows you, because if she doesn't, you may be getting ready to get into trouble. :) Good capture. I like that the background is obscured so that it is not distracting.
great shot, really harsh lighting - which you'd expect for a lifeguard. I'm not sure about the really high contrast, bright area in the upper R and I wish the glasses were a bit more centered
