Well, I decided to join the others, and add one more image, re Day 31. (31 Days in May)
This is definately the final black & white image, to complete the 2007 "30 Day Black & White" challenge.
It just had to be an "agave", as you all know they are definately a passion of mine.....
This is one of my best images of one of my agave colored DPC Prints, called "My Passion".
I have processed the color version. re Gradient Map. to get this pleasing Black & White result.
I have called this one "Passion".
I hope you like it.
Origional colored DPC Print version called, "My Passion"
Very interesting seeing this in black & white. My first impression of the color version is that it's very dependent on the color, but this proves that wrong.
Sherpet, funny I was just thinking about you. I just bought a perennial magazine and they have a huge article on agave. Now why did you come to mind? I was tempted to scan it and send it to you.
Nice job on the shot, as always.
Wow, this even looks good in B/W. I love the curving crisp lines of the plant. Nice lighting and tones. Perfect image to end the challenge. Enjoyed viewing your photos.
