I actually took this for the username challenge, and was going to use the username "posthumous". I scrapped that idea because most people think of awards and medals instead.

This is such a cute photo and I love the scale but the focus and highlights need some work. I would try running tis through USM and just playing with the different percentages and radiuses until it gets the sharpness you want. Also the whole photo can be darker with a little bit more contrast.
Cute! I like that her wings are in color. Had you positioned yourself just a bit more to the left of where you were standing, you may have been able to frame the shot without the statue on the left.
The monuments on either side are distracting. Looks like a few steps to the left and you could have gotten rid of both of them. Also, I think a lower, closer perspective would have had more impact.
