Damn I should have recognised the outstanding B&W tones and contrasts from the chellenge that we did!!!! Very few photographers I know get such richness
In a challenge that was awash with churches this really was the stand out image. Many congrats on the high place finish
Such an excellent shot, so much depth and dynamism (I think I made that word up, but it fits), such a dramatic sky, and perfect choice of subject. Congrats on your new best!
Jack! Way to GO!!! Your personal best! Not surprising. It is AWESOME! In fact, I'm surprised it didn't score even much higher. But you can't complain with a beautiful new photo like this in your top spot on your profile page, right? Congratulations!
Well check THIS out - a new personal best!! Way to go, Jack! By the way, I love the church - a lovely old structure, and an excellent subject for the challenge. You handled both the composition and the processing very well.
a nice pic but a little... erm... overdone? I cant think of the word but im trying to be polite and I think ive seen this pic in various guises many times before.
Having said that, the levels adjustment is perfect as you can see every slate on that roof. I would have made the JESUS bit lighter though on the right or maybe taken the shot from there looking at the roof or something.
