The colors are sumptuous and seductive... one just wishes one were there to soak it into one's soul. But, seeing it is almost as good. :)

It's easy to see why you feel this is your best December shot. It is a splendid shot of a perfect time of day.

Beautiful colors, and I like the slight wide angle perspective the lens gives the sky. Only little nit would be a bit more detail in the foreground; there's basically (on my monitor) all black in the lower left corner and that detracts slightly IMHO. Still a good chance for a ribbon here! Good luck.

Remarkably three dimensional.

I think you did a very nice job of composition and lighting is perfect.

Nice one that's all:O) 8pt

Beautiful, absolutely love it.

Beautiful composition and color. It draws you right into the photograph. I love it.

Gorgeous silhouette and beautiful sunset. I wish I'd been there!

Awesome contrasts. I guess I would have liked to see a littel more exposure on the foreground, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were liked the negative space. 9.

i like the extreme wide angle effect.
Post actions
Ok, 1st of all, you seem to live somewhere warm.. minus 5 right off the bat!!! ;-) LOL

Very nice use of a wide angle and great colors. For me it works better if you crop off the bottom.

Lovely color, great wide angle, emphasised by the very nice smooth effect of the long exposure. A bit too many disturbances in the foreground, but not really killing. Great.

Great color and good composition. Good job!

Majestic image. My favorite in this contest so far. Seems to me as though it's reflecting everything beautiful in nature. 10

Great mood to this shot. Just a little unsure on your focus. Good Luck, Todd. 8.

Stunning, magnificent work! Tone, colors, clarity are all superb. Had you tried moving the camera just a little to the left to weight the structure more toward the right and more off center? 10

very dramatic and beautiful. Nicely done with the reflections and the sillouhette. I think it might have been nice to crop off some of the right hand side, but thats just my opinion. Nice Dramatic sky!

This could be a postcard. One thing you should do is to spot-edit the moon from this image. This light spot up there is bad for this image. -9 from me (10 if this moon would not be there)

Dramatic sky, a bit dark in the foreground (could be cropped out). I like the siloette against the background. 9

Beautiful sunset/sunrise scene. The composition is very interesting. I like how the dock leads your eyes toward the sun. The clouds seem to bring your eyes to the sun. Also is that the moon or a star near the top left. Very inspirational shot.

Very Nice. I love the colors and the reflection on the water.

Groovy feel to this photo. Looks like a long exposure ... I love the soft feel of the water.

Like how smooth this one is, it kind of makes one feel good to look at it. .:9:.

This one is the winner for me. Very beautiful.

Truely a spectacular shot! This is one of the best sunset shots I've seen. Nice composition and use of your environment. 10 -danny

Nice DOF. I like the feeling expressed by your picture.
Post actions
that white spot in the sky is a bit distracting.. otherwise, great composition and exposure control.
Post actions
Who can compete with this! Perfect!
Post actions
WOW! I love this shot. You have great detail in the foreground and I love the big sky. the reflection is perfect. One little white spot in the sky that is a bit bothersome to me. I think I would clone it out. (wondering if its the moon).
