This is the home I grew up in Beaver, Utah. It was one of the first houses built there when the town was settled. It was built around 1873 and is on the national register of historic homes. My mother still lives there and loves this house. I tried all weekend to get a good shot. The weather was cloudy and with the big trees it is hard to get good light on it. My mother keeps the it looking wonderful.
I'll say she does. This is one of the most charming houses I've ever seen. I can't believe I know someone who lives in a house this awesome. And you captured it beautifully. The shade in the foreground actually enhances it, I think, giving it even more of a cool, wonderful place to enjoy in the sun.
