La Terre means The Earth in French. This was taken in my backyard. I saw a little snail shell near where I was shooting so I positioned it near the little plant. :) Don't think it will do too well...but I'm hoping for at least a 5.5. I'm thinking the voters will not like the shallow dof as much as I do!

Nice exposure and sharpness, but too blurry on la terre. I keep looking at the one piece of dirt expecting to see the snail, before realizing that's just the dirt. 5
I know focussing is a big issue with close up shots but for me personally I would have liked to have seen more of the scene in focus. It also isn't particularly colourful and doesn't have the wow when you first look at it. Composition is good, lighting is also good so technically is it pretty sound, just need some extra colour I think to make it a bit more interesting. 5
