A fault line of the cascadia subduction zone runs across Cape Blanco and is marked as shown in this photo. It represents a clear and present danger of earthquakes and tsunamis that could, in but a moments time, claim the lives of tens of thousands of human beings. It is an ugly subterranean risk that we live with to live on the beautiful Pacific coast.

I think this could be a great image, for a landscape shot, but without the fault line sign. What a shame to have a tacky sign like that in such a beautiful location. I think a contrast and slight saturation boost could really help this image. The blown out sign which you have made the focal point is distracting.
