Waterfall at the Fullerton Arboretum (Fullerton, California).
To get the silky-smooth effect on the water, I had to have a long exposure of 2 seconds. In order to avoid blown-out/washed-out features with such an exposure time, I used my Cokin Graduted Neutral Density filter, but didn't use the graduation--I used the whole darkened portion of the filter. I also used an aperture of f/38 to allow for a longer exposure time. This was my first photo ever using such a small aperture.

This is a pretty waterfall, but I think there are a couple of things that are a bit off in this picture. The greens seem a bit too yellow and bright. Perhaps a bit of desat on the yellows would help, and some contrast (maybe adjusting brightness too, or changing the exposure).
I like it. I haven't tried to get one of these shots yet with the water kind of fogging out like that. I think it's the yellow in the plants is a little bright and distracting from the water. Also maybe the pine needles hanging down in the top left are kind of in the way.
