Congratulations on this well deserved win. It's so good in so many ways. The composition of clouds meeting rocks pierced by the insignificance of the beautiful lighthouse all in wonderful tones. Sigh.

Awesome work. A very atmospheric, almost daunting scene.
Post actions
What a dreamy and surreal look this one has - love the sharpness on the light and the softness in the sky
Post actions
Love the wide angle here - the sky rushes out to the top of the frame, foreground wall anchors the composition very well.

Wonderful - Good luck, this one has to be in the top 5!!!!

there is a lot of drama in this shot, despite it's simple, peaceful look
Post actions
great conversion to b/w and showing the drama of this moment.

The impressive sky dwarfs but does not diminish the lighthouse. Nice.
Post actions
Beautiful and dramatic lighting. 10.
Post actions
Good choice for black and white - glorious capture! *9*
Post actions
I like how you are drawn to the middle of the photo. Nice dark feel..good job.
Post actions
Dynamic image. Very dramatic. Love your tones and composition. My favorite so far. A tighter crop from the top might help place the focus more on the lighthouse, which is in beautiful detail, but this is just my personal opinion.
Post actions
Impressive image. I really like the perspective and your chosen positioning of the horizon line to show the clouds.
Post actions
Beautiful b&w tones in this very stunning scene. It's very cool how the textures of the clouds lead you deep into this photo. Very well done!
Post actions
Impressive cloud, rock and lighthouse detail.

Nice and dark, exposed well, good highlights overall, but the foreground could use some more to show rocky textures. 6

This is stunning. One of the best of the challenge. I love how the rocks are almost mimicked by the shapes of the lower clouds. Excellent tones and contrast.
