Doesn't hold my interest very long ... the cut off rails and docks at the top of the frame hurt the image, and there's nothing of interest in the water to carry the day. Now if the composition was moved up to include the walkway behind the boats, and there just happened to be someone walking by with an umbrella, or a boatsman in a yellow rain slicker, that would have provided some interest to the shot -- as it is, what you have here is a potentially nice background to a subject that's missing from the photo. 4 |
