I am an American and proud to be one. But I am not a fan of wearing the flag on my sleve. This feels like it to me. Beyond that, there are many many flag pics here. You haven't shown me anything new, or a new perspective. Sorry to be blunt. I can't see what's in your head or why this is special to you ... the photo doesn't make it special for me.

I would have increased the contrast and saturation of the flag in post. It is too low contrast here IMO.

its a picture of an american statue + a flag. doesnt bring my thoughts into anything nice.

Love the perspective - would have liked Old Glory and the sky to be a little less washed out.

Im not sure if it would be legal, but i think the photo would have more umph if the sky was darkened a bit, and if the seagul was cloned out.
