It's the third straight day of rain here (and snow predicted tonight! GAH!), so I resorted to shooting the cat again. Luckily, she's photogenic and generally tolerant - though judging by her ears here, her patience is starting to wear thin.
Converted in channel mixer, several shadow/highlight passes, curves, dodge and burn. Resized. Two dup layers in normal mode, one aggressively sharpened and the other gaussian blurred, and fills adjusted for the nifty soft/sharp effect. Sharpen tool used around eyes and nose.
