Yes it´s dark but that was intentional, just to give more focus to the shape other then what objekt it is:)
This shot is of knobs of a guitar amp, standing in a line.
Last knob, the sharp one, is a takumar 50mm placed in front of the knob to get it sharp.
Light used is a 5600HSD in WL mode.

This probably looks cool if it is bigger. At this size, it does not quite have the punch that it should.

My eye is drawn to the object in focus; which is good, but the picture is still to dark to depict what it is.

Huh? It's not clear to me what your subject is and how it relates to the title.
