The moon and Venus, appearing every so often together. I'm not sure who leads the dance, since at least in the US, they're both thought of as women. :)
I witnessed it as well, I went to gather up my tripod and camera and by the time I got back outside the clouds moved in...Maybe next time!! Great shot Jeffrey!! Fantastic detail!!
This is a lovely shot, and I feel like it does transmit a good sense of relative size. The detail in the moon is great, and unlike many star and moon shots, Venus is very clear and well defined.
