Canon 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens at 57mm,
Sunpak 544 flash (off-camera) w. Lumiquest Bouncer. Handheld.
Rotated image 180 degrees, cropped, curves, hue/sat, sharpened, touched up a few bits of flotsam, a bit of dodge & burn, nudged individual color channels to remove CA from aquarium glass...
Resized, resharpened, and finally a gently touch of channel mixer magic. That's it!

Well done, like the placement. excellent detail in a very difficult shot. Only draw back is in the lower right side the bright white in the second jelly fish kept catching my eye a bit distracting. Overall and excellent job on a very tuff subject.
I am partial to jellyfish images and I will have to admit that I will be biased here. Having said that, I have to commend the photographer for this photograph because of the clarity of the details. It is very difficult to photograph jellyfish with this kind of detail because they are constantly moving around. The 'hairs' are amazing. In many other jellyfish photographs that I have seen, the 'hairs' are kind of fuzzy. DOF is excellent, colors are beautiful ... and especially, the way the aquarium lighting was caught is very wise and appropriate - it did not overwhelm the main subject and thus afforded contrast and clarity.
nice photo. I am wondering if this was taken under water? I did lots of suba-diving in my youth, so I can appreciate the difficulty in getting a shot like this...it is very sharp & crisp....
