A tighter crop would have highlighted that proud crest a lot more. The leaves in the background are just unnecessary.

Good subject for desat, but you seem to have a little haloing around his comb, and the crop could stand to be a little tighter on the right and at the top.The crispness of the feathers is very nice, though, as is the OOF background.
