Nice concept for a photo. But the effect of the desaturation is that her legs get lost in that grass, and it makes her look legless! Still, I think you're onto something with that strobe work.
I saw your photo on another site and I liked it, the scenery with stormy looking skies has a great atmosphere.

Your use of tone on the dress is perfect. Had it been BRIGHT red, it would just have ruined it. The white of the clouds here and there is a nice touch. I wonder if a bit of contrast adjustment would have made it have a touch more POP overall. Still, having said that, the caliber of this challenge is very sub-par and this image helps bring it up. 7
This would be great, really among the best, if she didn't have that unfortunate dodging halo around her. Beautiful shot, though, so I'll still give it a 7.
I really like the overall look of this one. I do wish I could see it at 8x10 instead of 640xWhatever... You do have what appears to be some oversharpening artifacts around the girls arms. I think for this media (DPC) I woulda cropped differently to make her a little more prominent. I think that a more saturated red would also make this pop a bit more at this size!

Did you intend for the mountain range to line up with the line of her dress? It keeps giving me the impression of a dress just floating there since her legs get lost in the grass and her head and shoulders are separated by the continuous line.
