I have a mutt....and this is her head. LOL To her dismay she HATES taking bathes....poor thing had to suffer for the DP challenge.
post processing included:
RAW conversion
desaturate
applied unsharp mask
dodged areas of the nose
slight burning to the eyes
crop to straighten
save for web
So it has now taken me TWO dq's to finally understand BASIC editing. UGH

I want to deny the effectiveness of this photo because of the "cute" factor, but it really is an appealing piece of work. It works strongly on an emotive level, but it also has good composition, lighting, and focus. The b&w doesn't seem gratuitous. Fits the theme/name, too. Good luck!
