The lighting on this is phenominal. I can't beleive how awesome this photo looks. The sky is wonderful and the detail in the backlit horse is just crazy. This is a wonderful photo, great job in capturing and processing it.
Everyone is making such a fuss over a simple everyday pasture scene. It is an exceptional image, with the way the backlight puts a halo around the horse, and the cows on the horizon give it such depth and scale. I also like the green foreground, and the awesome sun rays. I find that the white in the left sky pushes my eyes down into the area where the horse is, so in a way that adds to the strength of the composition.

Great photo! the green and orangy-red colours compliment each other. There's great detail not just in the horse but in the grass and clouds. The horse is positioned well in the photo. I like the little animals on the horizon - they suddenly jump out at you. The only thing that could be better is the very hot left part of the sky. Unfortunately, it distracts for the rest of an otherwise brilliant photo.
