 I have taken this picture in Singapore, in boat harbor. The sun was excellent and I was in a wrong place. When I changed the place I got this red sky.

Very cool mesh of b&w and color. Nice selection to desaturate...it adds some mystery to the image.

The desat here (in my opinion) fails to enhance the photo, and so serves more as a distraction in what would be otherwise a very nice picture.

Not sure about your monitor calibration, but on mine it appears that you have used the burn tool or attempted to color the horizon to the left of the shot. I cannot make out what it is at the horizon, but it does appear to me that you have tried to darken it. I would be interested to know if it is visible on your screen and if it was intentional.
