Challenge: Selective Desaturation II (Advanced Editing V)
Collection: Challenge Shots
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Location: Niskayuna, NY
Date: May 19, 2007
Aperture: 8
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/800
Galleries: Performance, Candid
Date Uploaded: May 19, 2007

Taken at the Niskayuna town celebration "Niska-Day", this was a very entertaining juggler.

Processing: Converted from RAW in RSP; Slight bit of tone mapping mainly because I liked the look it gives to the sky and scene; Channel Mixer to convert to BW, then mask the color parts.

Great capture. A little corny processing, but why not? 8

I like that. Very well captured action and expressions of the crowd. The choice of and execution of the desat gives it impact, should do well, good luck

Great capture but I think the extreme PP takes something away from it.

Not really fond of the PP (whole photo), but the selective desat works here. nice job.

Really interesting subject, very good catch with bat in mid air. The B&W is a little harsh but I really like this picture. Good luck & a strong 8
