Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, though I wish the entire pine cone was in shot.

Nice composition, great subject and the good use of dof. I also like the way you cropped the photo. The pine cone imo needs a little more light from the front to bring out the texture.

Nice compositon, like the branch as the leading line bringing you to the pine cone. Would have liked to see a little more detail on the left side of the pine cone tho. Very nice.
