Well suited concept, the image might only just need some compositional enhancements.
The dividing line should be rotated a bit to the left to make it vertical and the dark part in the upper left corner disturbs.
Light is set very good, especially on the left rose. The right, dead rose is somewhat undefined: hard to indentify it as a rose if one would only see it.
What I like is that the red rose crosses the boarder a littlebit and that you chose B&W of course. Good luck.
Unique idea, the story of the photo is one of my favourites here! The transition between life and death is truly one of those mistical boundaries that's hard to understand exactly and catches most people\'s fantasy! I also like that the living rose is so soft, and the dead one is rough. Just 2 small issues I have to mention here: I would have rotated the photo 1 degree CCW, because the borderline between the 2 sheets is not perfetly vertical. I also would have used one more lightbulb to make the shadow of the living rose more diffused. All together a great job!
Wow I like the original work of this photo. I think that the graphic of the photo could be better, but I think the originality of you photo is witnessing of an outstanding creative mind.

very cool concept, and very well done. Excellent use of contrast to symolize your idea here. Well taken photo's as well, especially the dark one, that's a hard shot too do, and you did it very admirably! I hope this is legal! Well done, 9 from me!
