Food photography is always a challenge... I've been doing a few shoots here and there (maybe 4 a year) with food and I always find it to be quite difficult. So, here's an small attempt...
Set-up:
Sheet wood (i.e. fake wood) on the floor
over-head tripod
craker...
800watt strobe with honeycomb
and white reflector at the bottom to alleviate the shadow cast.
Post:
RAW - levels / sat / contrast
RAW - conversion to TIFF
PS - square crop
PS - clean-up
PS - unsharp mask
PS - burn the edges of the cracker
