Nice Shot, I bet you that snake had his picture taken more in one hour than he did an entire year prior.

Nice image. Love the lines and colors. The one thing that really strikes me is the DOF is a bit too shallow, leaving some parts out of focus. I think this would be better if the entire snake was in sharp focus.

he's so cool.....! I wonder if a polarising filter would taken the sheen of him and given more depth to teh colours - 7

This is a really cool photograph, i love the texture of the scales because even though its very smooth the texture brings out a different energy and a pattern that connectes the whole photo, great job, if this was taken through a window i REALLY applaud you

You get kudos just for that funny title :-) Having picked up many snakes (I'm a big fan) I agree that they are suprisingly soft and silky to the touch! I think this is a great entry, though I'm sure you'll get dinged by people who don't realize how nice the skin of the snake really is.

Beautiful color. I'm scared of snakes but I'm gonna give this one high points because he has been photographed so well.

i'm usually a fan of the very narrow dof but i think this would be better with the whole snake in focus. truly a beautiful photo, 7

I like the picture but not the DOF. I'd rather the entire snake was in focus. The top coil being out of focus is kinda distracting to me.
