I like the idea, but needs a bit better composition. The light glare off of the horizontal bottle is a bit distracting as well, and the top of the carton needed to be there to complete the frame. The texture of the background seems silky too and I really that.
The idea is great. just a couple of things that you may want to watch out for: The product is to close to the background and you can see the strong shadows of the flash. If you can do it again I'll try use another light pointing at the background to create some separation. :)
Your lighting seems to harsh. A smaller lens opening would have made for more of the subject to be in focus. The red/white bottle is not focused properly.
An interesting "product shot" like image. The focus could be a bit more consistant from foreground to background. Also, the flash produced a reflection in the foreground bottle and created shadows which don't necessarily flatter the image.
lighting could be significantly better; although it was a nice try at product photography (nice try at a background and product arrangement) it needs some work
