Ah, Kunming, Spring City. A lovely place. I wonder if you traveled to the border of Burma (call it Myanmar) and Vietnam to the south, Xixuan Banna as it is called. It can be a hazardous journey (at least when I did it in the 80s) but well worth it for the lack of foreigners and a boat ride down the Mekong. I'm liking these photos a lot.
